About Me

I’m David Garrett, a freelance writer. I primarily write about martial arts and parenting issues, but in this case, I’m also following several live legal cases and am writing about them.

My day job is computer programming. I write highly complex code in order to confuse the computer so that it crashes and burns.

I have an eclectic but serious mix of hobbies: I blog. I camp. I hike. I do martial arts. I cook. I weld. I collect coins. I go to church on Sundays. I volunteer. I listen to a strange mix of music. I help people. I’m a peer recovery coach. I teach math. I teach English. I teach ESL. I teach computer concepts. I make sausages. I listen to a strange, eclectic variety of music genres. I do things.
